We are seeking presenters who will inform and inspire, surprise and delight. Our presenters Live locally but think globally. They aren’t afraid to break boundaries and think outside the box. They are trusted voices and convention-breaking mavericks, icons and geniuses.Collectively, our speakers may have earned their stripes in the global marketplace or they may be on their way. We also seek out emerging artists, scientists and thinkers, introducing them to the Celebrate Local community well before they hit the mainstream.

Each talk is 18 minutes long and includes an opening of direct address, a narrative of personal stake, a research summary, a précis of potential applications, a revelation to drive it home, and an ending that says, Go forth and Celebrate Local.

Suggest a speaker

If you know someone who belongs on our roster, or if you belong there yourself, we want to hear from you! Please use our recommendation form, and tell us why this person would be well-matched to the Celebrate Local stage.

Celebrate Local speaker team works with speakers well in advance of the conference to help shape a presentation that will succeed on the stage.

How do I suggest a speaker?
Use our speaker recommendation form and fill in as much information as you can. This form goes directly to our speaker selection team.

Can I suggest someone I don’t know personally? You ask for their email address, and I don’t know it.
Please do! Just let us know how you’ve heard about this person, and why you think they should speak.

Can I suggest someone I work for, or a client of mine?

Can I suggest myself as a speaker?

Do you have keynotes or panels?
Every speaker has a story to share. There  are no breakout sessions or tracks, no keynotes, and very rarely are there panels or interviews.

How can I prepare?
All speakers are offered pre-conference coaching and training. ,

An additional benefit of speaking is that your presentation may become part of our beautifully produced, broadcast-quality video series. Not all talks given on the Celebrate Local stage will automatically become online, but we hope most do.
